| Description: | From Art on the Red Website: Art on the Red takes place in Grand Forks, ND on the second full weekend of June. Hosting artists and artisans, food vendors and entertainers, Art on the Red caters to art lovers and festival-goers from around the region with two full days of art, food, kids' activities and art projects, live entertainment and more.
Starting Summer of 2001, this event has previously taken place in Downtown Grand Forks on the banks of the Red River. That is, until the 2019 season brought its own set of challenges with Downtown's main road being under construction. After several attempts for a temporary Downtown location, the Public Arts Commission (PAC) had no choice but to completely relocated the event for the 2019 season.
For the first time ever, Art on the Red took place at University Park... and it was a huge success! PAC was met with overwhelming support both from vendors as well as guests for this new location. So we are happy to announce Art on the Red will be returning to University Park for the 2020 season.
